“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would.” –Alice in Wonderland
As of late, I am propelling through life in a Summer Daze. Dealing with triple digits here in Vegas, trying to rock my lil styles while not melting into a chocolate-y puddle myself.
My floral fixation continues in this number! This floral maxi is seriously so cute and comfy. The print is gorgeous and is easily dressed up or down. When shopping for dresses, particularly with bold prints such as this I still try to opt for colors that will match shoes and accessories I already have. The steel grayish almost periwinkle hue matches great with most of my shoes from beige to black! This dress is from ShopPinkBlush.com.
When accessorizing this look I opted for a super comfy pair of tan booties via JustFab and this stunning little piece of sparkle from Chloe + Isabel! Shop them both from the ‘Menu’ on my blog!
Keep cool cuties! 😎
Ruffle feathers this season. Literally. Ruffles are on the trend circuit this season, adorning dresses, tops, and even pants. I flippin adore ruffles. The whole trend is like a fusion between Little House on the Prairie & West Side Story, both of which I loved. ❤️ Whether it be a collar, sleeves, or the body of the garment, ruffles make a statement. Here are a few looks I pieced together that all include a ruffle flare. Enjoy!

I’m sincerely soaking up every moment of the gingham trend that is currently upon us. What could I possibly love more than a picnic it’s self? Flippin dressing like one! 😉 I’ve always been a fan of prints that make a statement and that mix and pair with lots of other items. Gingham pairs well with blue denim, white, red, and even shades of beige and/or tan. Marrying navy gingham, for example, with pieces like denim jackets, red shoes, or red lipstick creates an ensemble that compliments it’s self!
Above is a pair of adorable little flats I snagged on JustFab.com. Here are a few more staple gingham Just Fab pieces I am totally vibe-ing on:
